Hajusom in Bollyland

Hajusom adapts and dismantles the rules of popular Bollywood films: melodramatic and dance-like film quotes are confronted and interwoven with the personal stories of the performers. New choreographies blend with live music to create Bollyland's own distinctive style. The musicians Ashraf Sharif Khan and Viktor Marek combine classic Indian with Western subcultural concepts. The actors and audience, led by the Indian expert and dancer Varshar Thakur, experience love, comedy, grief, heroism, fear, disgust, anger and wonder, creating the utopian realm of great emotions thoughout the course of the performance.
